Hi,
New member, please be kind.
The recent upgrade to Firefox 6 failed on my computer, crashing after re-start, 6.02 does the same. I'm having to run v4.0-RC1 as it's the most recent install file I still have on my HD. Mozilla had me spend a week running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, SuperAntispyware, AdAware, Spybot Search & Destry, Windows Defender and Dr. Web Cureit, in both normal and safe mode. A total of 957 items were removed (mostly tracking cookies and many were in backup files on a spare drive, but the problem still persists, the upgrade runs, Firefox shuts, then crashes on the re-start - it then fails to send a report to Mozilla.

Any ideas?

The upgrade to Firefox 7.0 has been successful, so maybe the problem wasn't my end?
