What method are you using to burn?

What software are you using to burn?

At what point does the error message appear...please quote it exactly.

Sounds to me like you need a new burner.

Dumb question, but I have to ask: Are you certain that you aren't using a non Re-writeable (R, not RW) disc that has already been written on?

Do you have any other brands of media you can try in your burner? I have found that the checksum of some media does not work with whatever program/disk tray ect...

Usually it gets past the point of burning for me. I always run into a failure in finalizing with my bad checksums but Maybe it won't even read it to begin with.
