okay so here is the beef, my laptop was working just fine yesterday and then out of nowhere none of the programs would run. avast wouldn't run, skype, chrome, IE, nothing!! so far the only thinks i can use are the cmd window.!! i looked at someone elses issues that were relatively close to mine and he said to go on the cmd and use the sfc and that it should fix it. the thing that pops up is that kernel32.dll and it wont fix it! the other guy got his fixed by it i think cause he said all was good on his end. am i supposed to type in sfc/scannow? i also tried to delete the file itself but then found out that it was a bad idea. i used unlocker to unlock it holings and found a hell of alot so i figured that its kinda important. thank you so much for helping me.

You need a space between c /s
type sfc /scannow
