Sorry if this is the wrong forum but didn't know where else to ask.I have a foolish question to ask,how does one get a blank desktop in Windows7.I
googled it but unless I missed it,I couldn't find the answer,thank-you,Tony.

Right-click an empty area of the desktop > hover over View > un-tick Show desktop icons.

Right-click on the desktop and choose "personalize". Then Desktop Background (or any other options you want)
