Hi, hope somebody can help please. As the Title says, my netbook will boot through to windows desktop page then i get an error message "dnsapi.dll" and then the netbook restarts itself. I imagine there must be a virus on the netbook. I can't seem to be able to find the safe mode of windows when netbook first books up. Is this a virus or more serious problem.

Thanks in advance.

What is the operating system and the full error message, then we can see what the next step may be.

Its Windows xp - and the message now longer appears. Instead, the system just restarts when on the homepage and all icons are loaded.
