Lately my pc has been freezing up when I leave for about 1-2 hours. I have to manually shut it down because cntrl-alt-delete doesn't work. Nothing works. Also I noticed the time on my pc clock was stopped 2 hrs. before I returned to using it. Could this be a virus?

<<Could this be a virus?>>

I suppose that it could be...but I suspect not.

Clock problems are typical of situations when the CMOS battery is failing.

Freezes are typical of many things.

System manufacturer and model?

Have you checked the system for possible overheating?
