Hey everyone. When I turn the power on to my computer (or attempt to turn on the monitor after it has been off for a while), my monitor does not display anything for a few moments, rather the display light goes from amber to off again several times. Eventually it does turn on, though. And also (this has only happened once), my monitor displayed a much larger resolution than usual (1200x600, as I recall) - usually the monitor only has two settings, 1024x768 and 800x600. As I said, this appears to be a minor problem, but I would still like to know what the problem is (is it a monitor problem or a hardware/graphics problem, etc) and how to fix it if possible. Thanks!

Oh, in case this will be useful, I've provided my system specs
