I've removed a few programs that mysteriously auto downloaded themselves to my computer, my computer security settings are at max and still these things are getting into my pc, I don't know if they were already there or not, I ran all the programs suggested on another previous post for someone else. Adaware SE, Spybot S&D, plus my McAffey and Spyware Cleaner. But I am still experiencing extreme slowness of my browsers. I use Explorer and Firefox browsers and both are almost at a standstill. I have broadband, not sure if thats of any value or not. But anyway here is the Hijackthis Log: If someone can please tell me what I need to remove to fix my problem thanks.
Oh also another thing: I've suddenly lost all ability to hear sound on my PC

Welcome to the forum. I am checking your log now and will return as soon as I have researched all the items.

While we are working together, please ....
  • Reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.
  • If you are unsure of what to do, stop and ask! Don't keep going on.
  • Be patient. HijackThis logs take some time to research.
Please note the following:
  • I will be working on your Malware issues: This may or may not, solve other issues you may have with your machine.
  • The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
  • Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine is clear. (Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.)
  • The process may take considerable time.

Welcome,
Please follow the instructions provided, you may want to print out these instructions and use them as a reference.

===============

Before we begin, let's move HiJackThis to it's own folder; like c:\HJT. When we're done 'cleaning' off your system, we're going to 'flush' the temporary folders which, with HiJackThis in it's current location, we'll lose both the program and the backups it creates. These backups are important in case we need to restore any 'fixed' entry(s) later.

Also move the "Backups" folder, for HiJackThis, if present.

===============

Go to Add/Remove programs (Start>Settings>Control panel) and remove(uninstall) the following, if present:

MyWebSearch

The above could appear anywhere within the entry. Be careful not to remove any personal or system software.

===============

Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Instant Buzz Daemon] C:\Program Files\Instant Buzz\IBDaemon.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Spyware Cleaner] "C:\PROGRAM FILES\SPYWARE CLEANER\SPYWARECLEANER.Exe" /boot

O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - http://bar.mywebsearch.com/menusearch.html?p=ZU

O15 - Trusted Zone: http://*.iwon.com

O16 - DPF: {70522FA2-4656-11D5-B0E9-0050DAC24E8F} (iWon Progressive Counter) - http://cc.iwon.com/ct/pm3/iwonpm_12_1,0,2,5.cab
O16 - DPF: {70522FA0-4656-11D5-B0E9-0050DAC24E8F} (iWon Prize Machine) - http://cc.iwon.com/ct/pm3/iwonpm_12_1,0,2,5.cab

Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

===============

Ussing Windows Explorer (Start > Programs) Locate and delete the following item(s), if present.

folders...

C:\Program Files\Instant Buzz
C:\PROGRAM FILES\SPYWARE CLEANER

===============

Post back a new HJT log, and let me know how everything goes.
