Hi,
The Modem is D-link 628

Intenet works fine when it's direct connected from DSL modem to computer (yellow cable from modem to network card)
or when it's connected by the yellow cable from modem to internet port
on router and the blue cable from computer network card to LAN 1.

the yellow light on the router is on but NOT BLINKING.
Wireless is not working!!.

When I reinstalled router, It's messages:
connection connected
router configuration successfully
verify router configuration failed

Thanks, Thanks

How To Power Cyle

“Power Cycle” process to reboot or reset the modem/router.

1) Switch off all the devices modem, router and computers also unplug their power cables.

2) Wait at least 30 seconds.

3) Plug the power cords back in, but don’t switch them on.

4) First turn on the modem and then wait for a few minutes for it to settle and all the lights to become stable.

5) Next switch on the router (if a separate device ) and then wait for a few minutes for it to settle and all the lights to become stable.

6) Now turn on your computer, You should now be able to access the Internet.

Is it just one device that can't connect via wireless?

Or are there multiple devices not detecting a wireless signal?

then lan1 to computer

What exactly is lan1? Are you referring to the port on your router?

Assuming you are, make sure the Ethernet cables are plugged into the right ports on the back of the wireless router.

What ports are there, and what ports do you have the cables plugged into?

Also, what's the make and model of both the modem and wireless router you're using?

Mdem is D-link 628

The router has four ports for LAN, and one ethernet port.
I have yellow cable plugged from ethernet port of modem to ethernet port of the router.

but as soon as yellow cable plugged from ethernet port of modem into ethernet port of the router, the ethernet light on the modem went off
!!
Is it possible that a part of the modem doesn't read router?

You may want to call the manufacturer of the router to troubleshoot.

It sounds like the router may be faulty, but I can't be completely sure.
