I currently rent a game server and my subscriber is providing me another new server. He is asking for the same rented price. I would like to know if it is worth it to change?

Current server:
Xeon x3430 16gb ram 100mbit

New: Server:
Dual CPU E5620 RAID 10 Disk Setup (Hardware Raid) 1GBPS Uplink Port XEN Virtulization

I am using this for my Minecraft Server. All I know is that this game runs Java and we've learned that RAM plays an extremely important part with the server. The 16gb of ram seems like WAAY overkill; I have on average 20-30 players on playing (and growing). We never use up the 16GB ram since our server has a restart cycle every 2 hours. I did some minor research and the New server is a year older and it has 12MB cache (compared to the old 8MB Cache). I was wondering if the switch is worth the same price?
