"Valve is offering the original hit first-person puzzle game Portal for free, starting Friday and lasting until September 20.

Each level in the game is a series of rooms from which you have to escape, using only your wits and handheld teleportation gun, which fires Portals that allow you to quickly traverse great distances in an instant."

Yeah, one of my friends told me about this yesterday. If you haven't played Portal before, GET IT. It is a fairly short game, but very fun and challenging. It makes you think outside the box when solving the puzzles in each test chamber. And the dark humor from GLaDOS is always entertaining. :)

I only had to cheat twice when I played the first time...and then I felt really stupid for not figuring out something so trivial.

I only had to cheat once. And like KBN, I felt really stupid for not seeing the solution.

:lmao:

Either way works. I usually type kN because keyboard is one word, but most type KBN because keyboard has two syllables.

Anyway...back on topic. :P

There are versions of Portal for Windows and Mac OS X, the two platforms supported by Steam.

I wish I could get it. Steam wants me to set up a free registration. I have tried 30 to 40 times to register, and all to no avail.
