Hello everyone im having a weird problem...

my computer would run perfectly fine when going on the internet or mostly everything but when I tried 3 different games from steam (they are legit not cracked or torrented or anything)my computer screen would go black after 5 - 10 mins...

the first time it happened was with left4dead i was attacked by some zombie and then the screen went black and the audio went a little crazy
the 2nd and 3rd time it happened the screen would be black but the audio would keep on playing normally
on both instances i couldnt do anything it was like my monitor just turned itself off or something

I've checked through canyourunit.com to see if i can play the games and it said i have more than enough

I've tried downloading the upgrades for my graphics card but i still get the same issue.

If i put this on the wrong topic im sorry about that I'll move it and thank you for whomever helps ;3

Oh yah the games are left4dead2, Star Wars: Republic Commando, and Bioshock (i know they're kinda old but so what they are fun ;P)

**edit** I have tried using a friends monitor and its still the same...
