Not super impressed at all. Hit the windows key and click start and back to those big ugly apps on the screen.

At least shutdown was fast. I ended up hitting Alt + F4 and choosing shutdown

That stupid Windows key button on your keyboard is basically useless.

Except for when you hit windows key + r then it opens the run dialog. Lol. But that's all I use it for right now.

If you open a app up and press the windows key it goes back to the tiles and the other way around again if you press it. It would be nice if it went to the desktop.

I agree. The Windows key should be like a "home button", not a "back button".

When you say big ugly aps icons, you can make those smaller by choosing small icons, just as you always could do with other versions of windows.

Doing that makes the menu more appealing. :thumbup2:

Thanks, I'll try that but overall not super impressed by the interface.

I may have misspoke when I said icons. The Desktop Icons are fine and resizable.
When I said ugly icons I meant the junk that appears when you are on the desktop and press the Windows start button and overfills the screen versus a nice compact text menu or small older windows type icons.

Since I hear that this interface is based on a smart phone interface I may have trouble with it as I do not even use a cellular phone.

That would be because it would cost me more than Basic wired phone service with no long distance. I discontinued long distance when they started charging me a fee for not using it BTW.
