Windows Photo Gallery opening AUTORUN.INF Instead of pictures

Today when i put a CD into my computer, auto play comes up with a option to view pictures using windows. When i click this as i have before, windows photo gallery opens but it opens the AUTORUN.INF instead of the pictures on the CD. Why is this happening?
