A few months back, I had a terrible virus that took me days to get off but I was able to remove the virus with the malwarebytes download. Unfortunately since then, I have no programs available. Today I went to look at pictures on my memory card and it doesn't show anything. This also happened with a DVD. How to I recover my lost programs from that virus? I have a sony vaio laptop and when I tried to contact Sony, they were kind of rude so I didn't want to use them any further. They said that some of the operating system files and services got corrupted and is causing the problem. and that it was necessary to reconfigure the utilities to resolve the issue. I was working with someone on another forum however we have been trying for a week today now and still nothing. The person had me do combofix, OTL, and TDSS Killer. Combofix and OTL both freeze up and don't allow me to progress at all. Is there anyone who can help me with this?
