HI,I am not sure where this topic should be,but thought i would start here this what my problems are below.
(1)I ran diagnostic from WD on my HDD it said i have no sector problems SMART TEST& EXTENDED TEST,EXTENDED TEST TOOK
22HRS&53MINUTES,Went to defrag. on control panel and the first 2"of defrag. bar was totaly red.
I have been using I.E for the last week and have not had any blue screens come up.
When i removed the partition i put in c/drive i had 182gb of space within 6mos. i had filled HDD up,but it took me
over 5yrs. to get to the first 132GB,then in less then 6mos. i filled up the hard drive.
Will go to F/F after this post and see if i get a BSOD,i think most of my problems are connected to F/F
sorry for the long post but it was the only way to explain my problems i am having, thanks

What is F/F? Is that Firefox?

The red bars indicate that those files are fragmented.

YES THAT IS FIREFOX,THE red is all across the bar and this came up between the time i last defraged HDD,which was about one month.
Could all of the red space be why i lost so much of the free space on my HDD, I feel my only option right now is to use a external HDD
and clean up HDD,then put stuff back on HDD.

The only way you could be having that many fragmentation issues is by removing applications and programs. Can you run the analyzer and post a screenshot of the red bars?

Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
  • List Minidump Files
Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.

Note: When using "Reset FF Proxy Settings" option Firefox should be closed.

Try clearing out the system restore points and temporary internet files.
Both can gobble up a considerable amount of space.
In the beginning there was the command line.
