I was surfing the internet and then I saw briefly a window like files were being copied, then I got a blue screen of death.
After that, I restarted my computer and windows would not boot up.
All I get is a black screen with a blinking cursor in the top left corner.

I have tried booting a recovery disc from a USB drive and using start up repair, but it didn't detect any errors.
I've also gone into command prompt and used the following commands:
Bootrec.exe /FixMbr
Bootrec.exe /FixBoot
Bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd
They were successful commands but it didn't work.

I've also tried installing another video card, didn't work.

My computer:
HP athlon dual core 4400+
Windows vista home premium 32
Motherboard is model M2N68-LA
The video card is an 8800 GTS
The other video card I tried plugging in was a GTX 570
