This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I think I used the task manager to close Chrome and then just reopened it and it was OK. It hasn't happened since but I might be concerned if it happened repeatedly. Chrome has known inexplicable freezing and stalling glitches so the problem might not be on your end. Google is aware of these issues but they seem to have trouble fixing them.

Just to test the problem .Anyways there are also some corresponding problems with this one .I cant even check for updates of chrome .When i go to "about chrome" it comes checking for updates and then it shows

update server not available (error:3)

Also i cant run cyberghost vpn .It shows There is a problem with your internet connection please check your firewall settings .

So do all this problems have a relation ?

I don't think much of the updating feature in About Chrome. I usually wait for Secunia to tell me when to update Chrome. When updating, I like to know the progress of the update. You don't get that in About Chrome. Just because it says it's updating doesn't mean it's working properly. And Google updates Chrome so frequently, it's hard to take it seriously sometimes. So I depend on Secunia for that.
