I have a new PC computer running Windows 7 Home Premium on it and I want to transfer files from an old PC that is running Windows XP Home edition. I cannot seem to make the two computers connect through my router. Is there someway to do it?

You will need to share a folder on one of the computers and then transfer the files you want to transfer to that folder.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.
