Not sure if i am posting in correct forum ,if not i apologize.I was considering buying a HP DC7100 and installing natty 11.04. I was wanting to know if I would run into any problems with this system before I bought it.Like known issues or shortcomings with this system and ubuntu? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, boregard

You should be ok with that setup. But then again it is linux and issues are part of the fun for the most part hehe. But if a problem ever does arise you always have us here at BC! :)

Dual boot at first just in case you don't like ubuntu.

For the most part it look pretty easy to upgrade. Though most desktop setups are usually easy to upgrade. :)

Your hardware is almost identical to mine.
Two suggestions: Get a second hard drive, use the
80G for the / partition and the new one for /home.
Get an NVIDIA graphics card. You can get by with
the onboard, but if you want to run the cube desktop
or play games like Urban Terror you'll be happier
with that extra GPU power.
