Windows will boot, but it takes forever for the first program (i.e, Internet Explorer) to come up. I did the above test - by unchecking all of the options under selective start up, and it came up QUICK. The problem is - there are so many on this computer, I don't know what is needed, what is good, etc.

I ran SAS and MBAM and got off one trojan and one other type thing.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

Luis has probably already responded to this, but just in case.

Perform a clean startup to determine whether background programs are interfering with your game or program: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796
