I'm thinking of buying a cheap tablet or netbook for my father, and make it super easy to use for computer illiterate. I want to do this because I hate it when he keep asking me do computer favors that he can easily do on his own. But I know he has no interest of learning anything tech.

I'd make sure they'd be interested even in something that's 'easy mode' or interested in doing it himself rather than keep asking you.
