i go to BroadbandReports quite often to check my speed,i have DSL,& am curious about the DoctorTCP app they tout on the site.
does it really work as good as the claim?
would it help increase my speed in any way?(sorry,i'm a speed freak!)
is it worth my while to install it?
do the positives outweigh the negatives?
thanks.

Hi flyeguy

Take a read here:
http://episteme.arstechnica.com/groupee/fo.../m/425008776731

That has a question similar to yours with quite a few replies. In my opinion it looks quite complicated. You don't want to mess up your connection. It doesn't have the greatest publicity, i would be wary of it no matter how well it may work.

David
