Hi. What is a good software for streaming video recording? I want to record something from ESPN3.com, preferably in high quality and free. Thank you.

I use Real Player for that. It will download any embedded video clip, not just Youtube.

Just wanted to say "Thanks!" for the RP suggestion.

Historically, I've bad-mouthed anything that had "real" in the title, based on the fact that RP, etc. historically had littered a system with a ton of unnecessary and unwanted files (which had later caused problems)...but I decided to try the latest iteration and it's a pleasant surprise. Thus far, I've only tested the download and conversion functions and I think it's a pretty good alternative to my paid program for doing such, seems to be faster and more reliable.
