My laptop used to connect to the internet thru my wireless router,I've reset the wireless router, restored my computer to the last time it connected to the internet. I now get the message after troubleshooting that I do not have a default gateway. what should I do next?

If still no joy, try the following:

Go to Device manager
For each controller under "Network adapters" right-mouse click and select "Uninstall"
Select "Computer", right-mouse click and select "Scan for hardware changes"
