Fixing Broken .mov Files

I am wondering if there is a way to fix broken .MOV files that I just recovered from my flash drive.
I get an ERROR Message -2048 when I try to play some files, then others recorded at the same time are fine. Im running a PC w/ Windows XP Pro SP2
