Hi all,
I've a site built with joomla 1.5.23.
I would like to install joomla 1.7 to upgrade my site.
But as soon I start my homepage (1.6 or 1.7) my computer is blocked and I had to reboot it.

I use vista. I've tried on local and online. I can open the homepage with other computer.
I've no programs such MSN, peer to peer, skype and so on...
I've tried to disabled all the application with execute --> msconfig.
The different version of my PHP and MySQL are the following :
+ Apache 2.2.14 (IPV6 enabled)
+ MySQL 5.1.41 (Community Server) with PBXT engine 1.0.09-rc
+ PHP 5.3.1 (PEAR)
+ Miniperl 5.10.1
+ SQLite 2.8.17
+ SQLite 3.6.20
+ OpenSSL 0.9.8l
+ phpMyAdmin 3.2.4
+ msmtp 1.4.19 (a sendmail compatible SMTP client)
+ Webalizer 2.21-02 (with GeoIP lite)
+ Ming 0.4.3 for PHP
+ PDF with pdflib lite v7.0.4p4 for PHP

* System Requirements:

+ 128 MB RAM
+ 192 MB free fixed disk
+ Windows 2000, XP (Server 2003), Vista (Server 2008), 7
+ all systems 32 bit (64 bit should also work)

As I can't find a solution on different joomla dedicated forum I hope you will give me the reason why my computer froze when I open the homepage.
I can access to the backend without trouble. I've tried with different browser too, scaned my computer with different antivirus and I'm lost now.
Thanks for your help !

Could be anything really. What you didn't say is which browser you are using.

Perhaps a link to the site would help so we could see what is going on? It really could be anything.
