I cannot get my wife's computer to start correctly. I have an Asus Laptop running Windows 7 Home premium. First it seems to start up normally but it's really slow. Once I login the wait begins, the computer goes to Start up Repair, but it can't repair. Error log shows:

Problem Sig#1 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Sig#2 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Sig#3 unknown
Problem Sig#4 54
Problem Sig#5 Autofailover
Problem Sig#6 1
Problem Sig#7 No Root Cause

I loaded Norton 360 and then Open Office 3 recently. Please help. I also had a virus on the system. I do not have a recovery partition on this computer. Please help. Thanks

Edit: Now I only get a black screen. Looks like I really need some help.
