First I want to say that I appreciate all the help you guys have provided to everyone. You are amazing.

My laptop has almost completely crashed. It's running Windows 7 Home Premuim. I'm sending this message from my desktop computer because I can't open any programs on my laptop which is the computer infected. My laptop was running smoothly earlier, but then out of nowhere Windows Protection started giving me pop-ups saying all my programs are infected with the W32/Blaster.worm. Any program I try to open automatically closes out with a pop-up from Windows Protection telling me that it's infected with the Blaster.worm

I can't even open notepad or task manager without a pop-up from Windows Protection saying it's infected and then it closes out. But it still lets me open basic windows to view my computer files, such as My Documents or My Computer. But that's about it.

Windows Protection (that's the only program that seems unaffected, even though it won't let me close it out) automatically started a virus scan and told me that I have 67 infected files which are infected by these guys:

W32/Child-Porn.PROXY/Server (I have NO IDEA what this is!!)
Mal/Generic-A, Trojan.Agent

My version of Windows Protection won't let me clean the infected files. So I put my computer into sleep mode. I'm scared to try to turn it off or restart it because I'm thinking it probably won't restart. But I don't know.

Considering I can't open any programs or access the internet.. do you guys have any recommendations on what I should do to get my computer cleaned?

Thanks! Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have found your new topic here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic417466.html but it appears that you missed part of Broni's instructions in his reply to you above as there are no DDS logs or any indication that you tried to create them. So, to restate in a different way:

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at step 6. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then post them in a reply to your topic here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic417466.html by using the Add Reply button in that topic, not here.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the post and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the reply and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
