Hello everyone at Bleeping Computer Help Forum! :)

I really need your help! I am obviously computer illiterate and as my nickname suggests quite in distress because of the problem.

Recently I have downloaded a program called PC Tools Firewall Plus because I thought it will help protect my computer.. Oh how wrong was I! ;(

Along with the program some kind of malicious malware must have downloaded because since then the PC keeps rebooting every 1-2 minutes! It's so frustrating I've tried to go to control panel and remove the program though it proved to be impossible

Even as I write I'm worried it will reboot again, so apologies for the brevity of message and spelling mistakes.

Please have mercy and help!!!!

Hi,

I see you have posted in several forums, and are currently receiving help from starbuck here:
http://www.freepchelp.co.uk/threads/12241-Lady-in-Distress-Please-help-with-malicious-software!

I strongly recommend that you only get help from one helper at a time as they can work against each other without ever knowing it and cause unintentional harm to your computer as a result. WIth that, I'm closing this thread since you are in good hands with starbuck.

Thanks!

Please don't ask for help via PM. The forums are there for a reason. Please post in the forums so others may benefit as well.
