I have searched for an answer and have not found an answer. Here's my symptoms.

I google search (does not happen with other search engines) and it's a grab bag whether I get redirected to a web page such as http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagea...s=3&u_java=true

The pages always start the same as pagead2. I try to go back by clicking the back button and it goes right back to the ad page. On this page is the ads listed on the host site and nothing else. In fact you should be able to click above to see what I see. No matter how many times I go back, on different days, after rebooting or runnning any spy/virus software - the result is the same. The same searches on different computers do not have the same results. The only way I can view the page is to work offline and back button my way. If I go directly to the page by typing in the addy, I have no issues. The problem is only when I google and click through the results. Very annoying. Anybody know what's up?

BTW, I am all current on all MS updates and spy/virus updates. However in my attempt to rid myself of winfixer, I tried spysweeper and it said I have PAL keylogger - my freedom all-in-one does not see it, MS beta antivirus does not see it and spybot does not see it. I don't want to pay $30 a year - but why do they see it and the others don't? Is this a BS find to get my money?

Hi There

I have read your post and I think it would be wise for you to post a HijackThis log for an expert to review. I bet you are wondering what HijackThis is. Well it's a program that is simply able to show others what's going on inside your computer, in terms of infection etc..

I recommend you follow the HijackThis preparation guide which can be found here. It is important that you follow the guide closely. A number of scans will be run which may well fix your problem.

As the guide says, after you have completed the scans that are recommended, please post your "HijackThis" log in a new topic in the forum found here. Please add your system infomation and also what problems you are having. Please wait for a few days and one of our experts will get onto fixing your computer for you.

Please be aware that this new year we have been swamped so it may take a week for a reply.
