processes at start up

Hi,how many processes do you need to at start up,right now when i go into task manager it is telling me
have 64 to 68 processes is this a bit much and if so how can i reduce them to the minumin i suspect this why
it takes 15minutes to get to home page.
I have post about my encounter with BSOD,DEFRAG ALL RED,LOW DISK SPACE,THANKS

There is no rule how many processes should run.
Every computer is different.
Depending on computer specs, one will run fine with 100 processes running, some other will struggle with 50 of them.

Some processes are obligatory, those created by Windows.
Some other processes are created by startups.
