I know this is an old problem and I've found a number of solutions, but unfortunately I have been unable to use them.

I have XP and an HP Photosmart 2610 printer. After I updated the driver, my problem began. First, a window pops up in which SmartWebPrintingOC is tring to load. Then, another window pops up that says (see HPprob1). Next, a windowspops up that says (see HPprob2).

The solution everyone else used to correct the problem was to uninstall HP Smart Web Printing. However, that program/file/app does not appear
to be on my machine.

What now? Thanks! :lmao:

I would uninstall all HP software...then reinstall same.

I would also check the browser add-ons...for evidence of HP junk which is not reflected in Add/Remove Programs.

Finally...I would use Revo Uninstaller to search/remove any HP software which defies conventional removal.
