Hi all...here are my issues. I've been searching the web all day for a way to reinstall Windows Installer V 5.0 or any other solutions but nay is the result. Below are some symptoms...thx in advance!

Windows Important Updates will not install
Cannot install Yahoo Messenger
Was unable to Uninstall Microsoft Office XP until I used Revo

Getting error messages : The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed.

For Updates error codes are : 641 & 8004FF01

Cheers,

Hey guys. Still no response from anyone on this post? I've tried everything I'm capable of to fix this but nada. If I could figure out how to just reinstall Windows Installer I would. Help!

Type CMD in search (bottom left)
Right click CMD.exe and run as administrator
After system 32>sfc /scannow
Click ok
This will either repair the installer or tell you if it cannot.
