windows 7 ultimate BSOD

my custom built comp. givin to me by a friend started having problems about a month or 2 ago after a put in more ram. i went from 2 to 6 and even upgraded to 64bit os. the top of the BSOD sometimes says "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT" other times it says"BAD POOL HEADER". it only happens at startup and only once or twice then after that its fine as long as well i keep my computer on. so is there a way to fix this. i know it would have to do with the memory i put in

Is all the ram in your computer the same. MATCHED? Same speed and volts. I like also like all my ram the same brand.
