The problem I have concerns starting up, the system is looking for C:\Documents~1\user\Locals~1\Temp\Sym and is unable to locate and won't continue until I acknowloge ok and then it progresses to start up I have searched for this file and found it in the registry editor under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Software-Microsoft-Windows-Current user-Runonce where it appears as ab Syminstallstub as the name, REG_SZ as the type and C:\Documents~1\User~1\Temp\Sym as the Data.
I have tried to delete this file as the administrator, have taken full control as the user, safe mode used anti viris and spyware to try and delete but no good, disabled system restore and repeated all above still no good tried CCleaner and Hijack this still no good.
When I try all the above it goes through the process of deleting but when I do another proceedure and come back to it there it is again.
Also tried to disable error reporting but it takes no notice of this, are there any software options out there that can maybe rid me of this problem.
Looking fwd to hearing from you.

Hello, what is your Operating System?

See if its gone after this.

Run TFC by OT (Temp File Cleaner)
Please download TFC by Old Timer and save it to your desktop.
alternate download link

Save any unsaved work. TFC will close ALL open programs including your browser!
Double-click on TFC.exe to run it. If you are using Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator.
Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process and let it run uninterrupted to completion.
Important! If TFC prompts you to reboot, please do so immediately. If not prompted, manually reboot the machine anyway to ensure a complete clean.
