Files become hidden -- HELP!!!

After i have editted a picture or simply rotated it, it became hidden.
What causes the problem and how can i solve it?? Please help.

You need to provide more information about the exact problem you are experiencing. Please explain IN DETAIL exactly what your problem is.

I will take a wild guess... Do you have McAfee installed? If not, I dont have an answer... but if you do have McAfee installed, it is a McAfee problem that has existed since May 2011. Please see the thread here

It is an annoying problem that McAfee has NOT notified any of their users about it... sad and bad to do to their users.... lots of folks out there have no idea what happened to their picture files... as McAfee has not published the issue....
