Welcome to the 70's,
Have a seat an wonder back in time with me....
THe rules of the game are simple, the song must be from the 70's... and you must tell
us what you were doin the year your song played....
now just relax and let your mind wonder......

Gypsy Woman~~Brian Hyland~~~

I was livin with my grandmother, going to Glen Echo Middle School, always ate grapes

A couple of days we will never forget. February 5-7, 1978. The Great Blizzard of '78.

Funny that this song would be playing in the background.

Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive

To err is Human. To blame it on someone else is even more Human.

Johnny Nash's I Can See Clearly Now was the number 1 hit from October 29 1972 to November 25 1972.

I left New York City for keeps and arrived in Phoenix on November 2 1972 where I really could see clearly.

Hot Child in the City - Nick Gilder

1978 was Kindergarten for me, but this song reminds me of all the times I got to go to the county fair. They *ALWAYS* played this song on the Himalaya ride!

It was 1975 and I was roasting marshmallows over an open fire pit in Huntington Beach,California. The fire pit was always next to  lifeguard station 13. I was wishing I was older so I too could go night swimming in the ocean.

On the radio was Glen Campbell LIke a Rhinestone Cowboy

Where - My grandparents cabin in the Mountains behind San Diego

What - Celebrating the Bi Centennial of America with Hamburgers, Grammie's lime gelatin and wearing red, white, and blue clothes.

Song - My sisters transistor radio only worked in town but it played Queens Bohemian Rhapsody. I thought it was a terrible song about someone's mother killing a man. Today my kids and I know all the lyrics to that song!
