I'm a new forum user. I've got a virus, and I don't have $100 to have my computer dewormed. I've been poking around, and hopefully I'll find my answer. :-) Love to all!

Welcome to BC!
I suggest you post about your problem, providing the reasons you think you have an infection (especially any warnings you are getting) as well as what AV you have run, in the Am I Infected? Forum. Depending on the information provided so the infection can be identified, you may be directed to an easy to follow self-help removal guide or to work with the Malware Removal Team if the infection is complicated.

Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.

Hello jgweed (or anyone else out there in cyberland),
Thank you for the introduction and information. I do have a question, though. Is there any way to add information to a post without "bumping it?" I have gone though several antivirus removal processes (including the security protection removal guide), and I did not include the results on my post. It would help someone to understand what I've done on this, so far.
