There is a vertical blue line on the monitor of an Acer laptop which comes and goes as I physically move the monitor on its hinge between the open/closed positions. If I move it too fast, the line goes away after a fraction of a second. Possibilities discussed so far have been screen, inverter, onboard video adapter. Any ideas?

I think it was your cable that connect your Inverter to Mainboard (I usually call it flexibel cable, sorry I dont know the name in english).

Could you tell your Acer Laptop Model on your next post?
