Hi there, I have a situation where combo fix didn't like particular application which we use to manage industrial lighting. Combo fix moved the entire app to it's quarantine folder and now I nned to recover those files. I have done some reading and will look for a document specific to combo fix for restores. If this is a manual process it would be good to know before I spend a lot more time looking for a cmd line switch or method of restoring from the quarantine area.

Color us in the dark until we get these files restored!!

Hi,

ComboFix (CF for short) is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for personal, unsupervised use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. When CF is run without trained assistance, it can no longer be considered a "safe" tool. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

It can also cause other problems such as legitimate files being deleted, so this is a good example of why we have all these warnings in place.

Please post your ComboFix log for me, and I'll help you get your files out of quarantine.

It is located at C:\Combofix.txt
