Hi there I have spent a good part of this evening (it's now 1:07 am GMT) going through all your recommended processes before submitting a HJT log as I still think that my PC is infected with a malicious virus and trojan, namelyRbot 26074234 and it is hiding in a file in System 32 called msoftconf.exe.

I am using Windows XP Pro but unsure of which SP package.

below is the result of HJT log file. I would greatly appreciate your help in analysis it and advising what actions I need to take.

Sorry for this delay. Post please a fresh hijackthis log if you still have problems.

Did you create them yet ?

Daisuke,

Forgive me if I am a bit green but I'm I suppose to take any further action?

I have to admit that the virus seems to have disappeared, do you think all is well with my PC?

Regards

Brian

 :flowers:
