Helping a friend diagnose a problem ( Vista Home Premium), started to run system restore and find that the only points available are between 7-10 days old.
Is there a way to show older restore points or is that it, is there a way to change something that will "hold" older restore points in the future?

Thanks

You can increase the space allotted to system restore on each drive. Personally, I disable system restore and use disc imaging software, creating a new image every week. I find it much more reliable than system restore, which can be buggy for some folks.

Again, it's probably tied in to how much space is allotted to system restore.
