IE Chrome will not open Facebook

If I type in www.facebook.com under IE it states "internet explorer cannot display webpage"
With chrome it comes up "This webpage is not available"
This is my sons computer-all other sites you can get to under IE or Chrome
Ran all the virus checkers-spyware etc...he did have a number of issues but all appeears to be clan now
Facebook is not under the "blocked" sites
any ideas around this one?? Thanks-

Checkmark following boxes:
  • Report IE Proxy Settings
  • Report FF Proxy Settings
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size
Click Go and post the result.
