I have an Optiplex 745, and I'm trying to re-install XP SP3. I don't have the driver disc anymore, so I go to Dell to get the VGA graphics controller for the Q965 chipset, as the specs say I have that chipset. When I run the executable, it tells me that my system doesn't meet the minimum requirements, and the install stops! Please help!!

Thank you, but that's where I went to get the video driver, and it gives me that message I mentioned above.

Have you first installed the chipset driver? Look in device manager. Where do you see yellow or red symbols?

When you double-click on the display device in device manager does it identify the device? If so, what is it?

If not, download and run Belarc Advicor - what does it report as your display device?
