Copying Photographs To Cd

i select pictures to put on a cd and get the little bubble saying you have files waiting to be written but when i go into the write files to disc and press write to disc i get the plop noise and cant do anything selecting any other option gets the same noise ,it used to work

What application are you using to burn the pics to your CD? Are you sure there is enough remaining space on the CD to hold these?

im using the windows xp prog
