Hi, a friends computer. HP compac presario celeron 360- cedar mill 3.46 ghz-ecs livermoore mobo - intel i945G/GZ chipset-2 512 kingston pc2-4300 regular UDIMM - 3,3,3,9 12 @ 200mhz -American megatrends bios 5.12,..runs quite slowly even with all measures taken , adjust for best performance, unneeded services off , brand new windows 7.......my
?........133.3 mhz with a multiplier of 26 ! wtF ? ! ( is it just me , (which i doubt , as i build and overclock
my own comps, etc. ) or is this just NUTS and bass akward , as it sems to me , most 5010's i've seen have at least close to the 533.3 max fsb . (unsure of the history of the machine , bought new (seemingly doubtful to me at this point) or did someone use software of some sort to screw with the fsb/multi ratio, .......clueless here .

Thanks, i'll download that , i have pcwizard, cpuid, etc. but this one seems easier to transfer info with.
I believe that i found the answer though , the bios , i have been reading , is nor rated as compatible with anything over xp, i think circuit city , bought a bunch of em , slapped vista in there and called it good, ( i asked them , and they did buy it new from there, and said it came with vista)..tried bios update , got the "doesn't meet minimum requirements for the update and could not continue.....just for grins though i'll do the speccy, and post later.
thanks for your time. ;-)

Forgot to mention , i just put my win 7 on it to mess with hard drives, etc. (some repair software takes forever and this one will just be used for that type of thing , not going to be online, etc. so i have nearly all those services disabled to conserve resources etc.

Hello could you go back to your post with the information you obtained from speccy, choose EDIT and remove your windows product serial number?

It would be the one on the 24th line of your report. Removed ~ Louis.

We do not want that product key being used by others who do not have authorization to do so. :thumbup2:

Thanks in advance.

Bruce.
