Application Failed to start side by side configuration incorrect

Hi whenever i open the Microsoft word documents infact every microsoft application is not opening.

To fix this sissue steps taken

1)installed Microsoft visual c++ 2010 as all previous versions are already installed

2)run sfc /scannow result:corrupted files found but cannot repair

3)repaired Msoffice home and student edition

4)uninstalled msoffice

5)when reinstalling it won't install

6)so at the end i restored my system from where i started.

Can anybody please help me in resolving this issue
i am using windows vista home premium edition.

I have posted 3 posts for help but unfortunately no one has replied with solution on any of the issues so i think that no one here is bothered here to help. I am greatly disappointed by this forum as i joined to interact and get help and help others however i am not getting any help. :thumbdown:

Well...I've always found that problems with any Office application...are usually resolved by uninstalling Office, then reinstalling.

Beyond that, I've never had any problems with any iteration.

Nice of you to say "it won't install" but a little more desription (error messages, etc.) about just what transpired...might be more helpful in giving some of us an idea of what may be wrong.

Well i resolved by uninstalling all the traces from computer using revo uninstaller and then booted in safe mode and installed in safe mode.
