The last few days my internet has been extremely slow. At first I thought it was a network thing but when I get on another computer the internet is working normally so that leads me to believe it's my computer. I see a few lines in the HTJ Log I'm not too sure of (all of the igfx files). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Malruxia

Hello malruxia and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. After reviewing your HijackThis log I see no signs of viruses or malware at this time. The log is clean.

The only thing I do see that might be attributing to the issue that you mentioned is BitTorrent. As with any p2p application, when the machine is connected to whatever network the p2p program belongs to, system resources will always be allocated to maintaining the contact and processing requests from other users. Try shutting down the BitTorrent client and only start it up if and when you absolutely need to use it.

Cheers.

Thanks for your reply. I ran the windows error checking software and it found something and whatever it was it fixed it and everything runs better now. I never have bittorrent running unless I am downloading something.

Thanks again for your reply,

Malruxia
