Boot To Dos

How do i boot to dos and install windows 98SE.
Someone installed xp and i can not register it. I dont have the correct key. So im going to install win 98m just dont know how. I tried installing the cd and it said boot to dos and install. I just dont know how.

You need to have a windows 98 boot floppy disk. If you can get access to a win 98 computer, you can create one easily enough.

If you just need DOS, tap F8 as you boot and select the prompt from the Boot Menu. You can also create a boot disk from "Add/Remove programs" and select Create a Emergancy startup disk".
